What is Flora Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress and how does it differ from other latex beds?
Flora Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress is a four-layer bed with two customizable middle cores for adjustable firmness, plus a firm base and soft top layer. It uses organic Dunlop latex, an organic cotton cover, and wool filling for natural comfort and temperature regulation.
What are the layers and what do they mean for daily use?
The construction includes a 2" firm base, two 3" adjustable middle layers (firm, medium, or soft), and a 2" soft top layer. This lets you tailor the feel to your sleeping position and preference while maintaining surface pressure relief.
What materials is it made from and how does that affect night-to-night use?
It uses 100% GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex with an organic cotton cover and wool filling. Wool adds natural flame retardancy and helps regulate temperature for a comfortable night across seasons.
Who would benefit most from this mattress and when should someone consider it?
Ideal for sleepers seeking customizable firmness and good pressure relief, across various body types and sleeping positions. Queen and king sizes offer dual firmness, and it works with adjustable bases.
How durable is the Flora and what should I know about long-term use?
The latex layers provide durable support with a stable, long-lasting feel. The multi-layer design aims to maintain comfort and support over time while helping with temperature regulation.
Can I use this mattress with an adjustable base or foundation?
Yes, it is compatible with adjustable bases and can be paired with a matching hardwood slatted foundation if extra support is desired.
